Family day care is where a registered carer looks after children in her own home.

Both options offer full-time, part-time or occasional care for children 0-6 years and both options have waiting lists.

Private Child Care Centres

There are many private centres all over Melbourne, but they can be quite expensive.

All centres whether private or municipal can have lengthy waiting lists.
